EXHIBITION "HORSES IN ACTION" alias "UNIFORMS IN SADDLES"-PARDUBICE 2009
4.-6.9.2009 was held for the 11th time international exhibition
"Horses in action" at the racetrack in Pardubice. This year´s main theme
of the exhibition was "uniforms in saddles". During three days were
introduced almost 450 horses of 43 different breeds. The number
of visitors reached 17.000.
Teke horses were presented by stallion Damask (Aksum-Davenda)
of Mrs. Zdenka Skopalova, our Mingam (Kortik-Mimoza) and two stallions
of Slovak studfarm Alania of Mr. Khabliev, Asket (Ekemen-Akgozel)
and Gagur (Gigant-Gumsara).
Czech Akhal Teke Association presented the breed in own stand.
The stand was part of "Once upon a time in the East" place, where
visitors could admire also birds of prey of Mr. Straka, oriental
dancers from Samirah company or fortified with excellent teas from
"Dobra Cajovna".
Tekes participated in ceremonial parade (Mingam and Damask under the
saddle, Asket and Gagur in-hand), in a breeding show in-hand and Mingam
with Damask in a riding show and Race of Eastern breeds.
Big thanks deserves organizational committee headed by Mr. Kunat
and Magda Hromadkova, who created very good conditions for exhibitors and
their horses. We are looking forward to next year!
