EXHIBITION "HORSES IN ACTION"-PARDUBICE 2008

5.-7.9.2008 took place international equine exhibition "Horses in Action" at the racetrack in Pardubice. This year was the main theme of the exhibition "horse in a carriage".

Akhalteke were represented by two breeding stallions - 5 years old Damask (Aksum-Davenda) of Mrs. Skopalova and our 19 years old guy Germes (Munir-Granka). On Friday horses were shown "in-hand" and under the saddle in a costume show called "Caravan of Gifts". On Saturday stallions were ridden once more in a costume show and in the afternoon took place "The race of Eastern Breeds". This year participated only three horses - Arabian mare Ubaha (Sultan-Ulianka) and, of course, Teke boys Damask and Germes. The race won easily veteran Germes with Katerina Hajkova in his saddle. On Sunday horses performed in a show "Caravan of Gifts".

Czech Akhal Teke Association had own stand with materials and information about the bred for interested people.

Organization of the exhbition was perfect thanks to the team of Pardubice racetrack with Mr. Kunat and Mrs. Hromadkova. We are looking forward to next year exhbition to participate with our Tekes.
