Fornaks sire is stallion Anis, light bay, born 1992 at Stavropol Studfarm in Russia. Anis didn´t perform, but his full brother Aisor was succesful on racetrack (winner of Prize of AATK, the most earning older horse in 1997).
Anis died early and left only three purebred foals - Fornaks, Kulisakan (out of Kasatka) and Gama (out of Gagara).

Sire of Anis is buckskin stallion 1099 Serasker, born 1985 at Stavropol Studfarm. Serasker raced as 2-3 years old with average success, in 9 starts he won once, twice placed 2nd and three times 5th. He got Diplomma of II.Degree on exhibition in Tbilisi in 1988. Among his offspring we can find Oaks winner Gaisana (out of 2210 Greza), winner of "Prize of Otkrytia" mare 2914 Pustynja (out of 2412 Palmira) or Russian Reserve Champion among mares Magistral (out of 2797 Margaritka).

Dam of Anis is mare 2527 Azra, chestnut, born 1988 at Stavropol Studfarm, now she is used as a broodmare on the farm "Tekinskii Legion" in Russia. Azra raced as 2 years old, she didn´t place in 4 starts.

Fornaks´s dam is mare Formula, bay, born 1994 at Studfarm Chagorta in Russia. Formula didn´t perform. Her full brother Farid belonged to succesful racehorses (winner of "Prize of Otkrytia", 2nd place in "Great Summer Prize", etc.), he placed 7th at Russian Championship in 2000 and got Diplomma of III.degree. Halfbrother to Fromula is stallion Fakt (by 1101 Turali), buckskin, born 1995, Derby winner. Except that he placed 8th and got Diplomma of III.degree at World Championship in Moscow. Formula produced three foals-Farmal (by uknown stallion), Fornaks and colt Al-Fares (by Altair).

Formula´s sire is stallion 1057 Dorkush, bay, born 1984 in Turkmenistan. Dorkush raced as 2-5 years old, in 36 starts he got 7 wins, 11 times placed 2nd (including Prize of Boinou and Prize of Elite) and 8 times placed 3rd (incl. Prize of Nations). Dorkush´s dam Sabyrli produced stallion Saklanma and mare Sakharnaya, dam of three full brothers Melesur, Polot and Melekulan (all by Sovkhoz 2).
Dorkush was used in breeding at Studfarm Chagorat, from his offspring let´s mention his daughter 2765 Keeda, dam of Russian Champion among mare Kepeya (by Dialog) or 7th placed in Russian Champion in the category of 2 years old stallions Kofug (by Fort), who also placed 3rd in Prize of V.P. Shamborant. Dorkush produced some good racehorses, as Derby winner Alvan or Kaskad. In Germany is used in breeding stallion Daimir, who placed 3rd at European Championship in Gut Ising in category of breeding stallions.

Formula´s dam is mare 1865 Fergana, bay, born 1976 in Turkmenistan. Fergana was without performance. She produced Derby winner Fakt and winner of "Prize of Otkrytia" stallion Farid.

From dam´s side Fornaks belongs to the family founded by mare 435 Khodjali (Katyk Mele-Tanjeli), born 1924 in Turkmenistan. To this family also belongs e.g. mare 1689 Fialka (by 831 Farfor), dam of stallion 990 Karaman, sire of Gaighysyz. Another mare is 1688 Fialka (by 682 Almaz), dam of stallion 949 Dornazarbek (by Yulduz).
